This policy explains what DIDM AI (“DIDM”, “we”) collects when you use didm.ai, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the free Market Scan. The DIDM product has its own terms and data processing agreement for customers.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill in a form — contact, Market Scan or Google Ads check — we receive your name, work email, business name, service area and anything you choose to write.
- Public business information. To build a Market Scan we look up publicly available information about your business and nearby competitors, such as Google Maps listings, ratings, review counts, search results and public building-permit and housing statistics.
- Usage data, with your permission where required. If you allow analytics, we measure pages visited, how you arrived, approximate location (city level), device and browser type. We do not collect precise location.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and to prepare and send the Market Scan or report you asked for.
- To follow up about DIDM if you asked us to contact you. You can tell us to stop at any time.
- To understand which pages and campaigns work, if you allow analytics.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, form delivery and server-side analytics loading.
- Google — email (Google Workspace), Maps and Places data for Market Scans, cloud hosting, and Google Analytics if you allow analytics.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We will update this list if it changes.
Cookies and your choices
Analytics runs only after you allow it where the law requires consent, and you can change your mind at any time. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out.
How long we keep it
Market Scan reports and the data we gather for them are deleted after 30 days, unless you become a customer. Form submissions are stored for 30 days in our systems; the email notification our team receives stays in our inbox until we delete it, which we do promptly on request. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and credentials are kept in dedicated secret storage. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
didm.ai is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
