We want didm.ai to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or reduced motion.
Our target
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we’ve built in
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus and a “Skip to content” link.
- Motion, video and animated backgrounds stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text meets minimum contrast ratios, and headings, landmarks and form labels are structured for screen readers.
- Form errors and confirmations are announced, and the mobile menu traps focus while it’s open.
- Images have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
How we check
Pages are scanned with automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks before release and reviewed by hand with a keyboard and screen reader. Automated tools can’t catch everything, so we also rely on feedback.
